Upon arrival at Keflavík Airport, your self-drive car will be waiting for you at the airport. If you arrive early in the day, you have the option to upgrade and visit the Blue Lagoon (this is optional and not included).
After checking into your accommodation, explore Laugavegur, Reykjavík’s main street, where you can enjoy its diverse shops and cozy cafes.

Pick up your rental car and set off to explore Iceland’s dramatic south coast. Begin with the stunning Seljalandsfoss waterfall, known for its 40-meter drop and the unique opportunity to walk behind the cascade. Next, visit the majestic Skógafoss waterfall before heading to Reynisfjara*, a striking black sand beach renowned for its dramatic landscape.
*Caution is advised at Reynisfjara beach near Vík due to powerful rogue waves and strong undertows. Always stay well back from the water’s edge and heed warning signs.

Travel from Kirkjubæjarklaustur to Skaftafell*, a stunning area within the vast Vatnajökull National Park. Next, visit the renowned Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon to marvel at the floating icebergs. Nearby, explore Diamond Beach, where large ice chunks glisten on the black sand after being polished by the lagoon’s surf. Continue to the smaller Fjallsárlón lagoon before making your way to the charming village of Vík for the evening.

Embark on the iconic “Golden Circle” route this morning. Start by visiting the striking Kerið crater, followed by the awe-inspiring Gullfoss waterfall, renowned for its two-tiered cascade. Conclude your journey at Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where you can walk through the rift valley separating the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates. Return to Reykjavík for the evening.
